The Solution Project proposed a “pop up”’ farm and food production system at the Con Edison, John Street lot in the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The project addressed issues of brownfield remediation, climate and sea level change, foodshed and watershed awareness. The project incorporates passive and sustainable design elements in the creation and execution of a dynamic interactive Garden Laboratory.

This prototype ‘pop-up’ garden is to be constructed with locally sourced materials and labor.
